The Taskforce has released a discussion paper, Australia: the healthiest country by 2020, on 10 October 2008 that is the first step in developing the National Preventative Health Strategy and key issues.
The Taskforce is calling for submissions on this discussion paper. The closing date for submission is Friday 2 January 2009.
To make a submission please go to the On-line Submission page and complete and submit the submission form available. The Taskforce will consider on merit all submissions in developing the Strategy.
A draft of the Strategy will then be released for comment in March 2009 before the finalised Strategy itself is handed to the Government in June 2009.
